Award winning “Last Fisherman” film screening – 6th November 2017 19:00–22:00
The Last Fisherman Standing will be screening the Cornish “Last Fisherman” feature film, created by We Are Ronin, a group of award winning documentary makers. This poetic film, recently featured on Countryfile, shares insights into a livelihood that is all but clinging on to today’s world, in Worthing and elsewhere along the British coast. Worthing seasonal fish mural by Wildlife Artists Jane + Frankie – 14th – 25th August 2017
The Last Fisherman Standing will be hosting London based wildlife artists Jane Laurie and Frankie who will create a 25m long mural inside Splash Point swimming pool this August. Heritage fish cookery class with seasonal catch – 4th May 2017
Learn how to cook heritage recipes with seasonal catch at this series of cookery courses at Northbrook College. Our tutor will show you how to fillet, spice and cook different types of fish as we continue through the season. POP-UP MINI FISHERIES MUSEUM 15th – 21st May 2017
Come along to our pop-up fisheries museum on the Worthing seafront and discover creative fishing artefacts made by local school groups. We will also have a beach BBQ with fresh fish on Saturday, the 20th of May to show just how easy fish cookery can be.
